you up in tally right now or in weston? I'm coming up to visit a lady friend of mine up there next weekend, if you can hold off I will bring some of my tools and soldering iron and could help you out.

Or you could contact LS1_SS he lives up in tally too and is selling HIDs now, so he prolly knows a thing or two about them!

im in weston now, ill be back in tally prob in a week or so. Its a meccatune 6500k 9006 kit. its a buncha connectors + bulbs + ballasts. ITs all plug n play i jus dont know wut plugs where, and i didnt notice a wire to run into the fuse box or battery like my old set had, i was wondering if it was a new design or jus reuse the old wire.

i have some 8000K hid's in my car. they were just a plug and play.

take out the halogen bulb, put in the HID bulb, the wires ran to the ballast box, then the box plugged into a smaller black inline fuse looking thing, and then the factory light harness just plugged into that. and i was done. i had no wiring or soldering or anything at all to do.

your kit may be different though!?

Wait a minute.....you are going to put in a higher amp fuse in the stock headlight circuits. You might end up drawing more current than the wires can handle and burn them up.

Whats everyone else doing?

I always thought that these kits came with relays so that the stock wiring activates the relay and the relay activates the HID lights (the relay gets its own fused connection to the battery to power the lights).
