i would mount it on the radiator where cool air will flow over it.

i wouldnt mount the cooler on the radiator, the radiator will act as a heater.
Zip tie it out away from the radiator, make a bracket or whatever.

Do a quick search in this section on cooler install, there's TONS of info on this. There's several different ways to mount a cooler, do some searching to determine what's best for your application.

I removed the washer bottle, all of the baffles in front of the condensor and radiator, and hung my two 24K coolers off the back of the bumper bar. I have them leaning forward, so-to-speak, so they catch some air off of the lower air dam, AND, they don' t block any airflow. I' ve also cut holes in the bumper absorber, to allow a little more air through the grille openings, and have yet to see temps' above 185*, in the 100+*summer, in 45 minutes of traffic, with the A/C on. As a side benefit, I run coolant temps' about 15-20* cooler than with all the OEM stuff in place.

Good luck. There is a lot of info' out there.

I bought the perma cool, it is around 3in tall and about 20in wide, mounted it to the metal piece that holds the plastic air dam in the very front and bottm of my car, directly below and in front of the radiatior.

The guy that installed my cooler put it on the in front of the radiator on the a/c condencer I guess. I have driven the car a little and have floored it a couple of times and now my ses light is on. I checked all my guages and everything looked normal. Is the ses light on because the computer thinks the transmission is slipping? I dont have a trans temp gauge yet could the transmission be getting to hot?

Get the code scanned to see what it is, guessing is impossible. I'd also get a temp gauge asap....I'd hate not knowing what your tranny temp is with a big stall.

I just installed a B&M trans cooler with a 9" fan, just in front of the driver side tire flat. I use two steel L brackets to the frame and on the other side for more support I used a piece of threaded 1/4" rod up to by the light. Looks good, I'll see how good it works in a few weeks when I get the motor in.

I put mine infront of the radiator, right behind the hood latch.

Just got my car scanned at autozone right now and the car had a P0507 code. It says the pcm has determined that the engine rpm is higher then expected for the current engine operating conditions. Will I be ok or should I get my car tuned asap. The counterman told me I was gonna blow my motor if I dont get it tuned real soon.

Counterman, counterman..... You mean the most uneducated people in the automotive industry who can only work at places like Auto Zone and barely make a living.

Just don't go WOT through 3rd gear until you get it tuned.
