Default cam?

i keap going back and forth between the idea of going FI or spray. i just recently upgraded to a Futral f14 cam(232/234 112lsa) and know that the cam wont be an issue for spray but should it cause me any conserne if i were to SC or turbo the car?

It would probably be ok for a SC but too much overlap to work efficiently with a turbo setup.

werd you'll bleed off some boost, sell it and get a new one, like the LPE GT2-3

i dont want to replace this cam i just installed it a couple hundred miles ago.

if it has to much overlap could i just run a little higher boost to possible replace whatever is blown out the exauhst valve before it closes?

why would it be ok to supercharge it and not turbo?

Are you on a stock bottom end? It might be some nice insurace to bleed a little boost. Many well seasoned LS1 turbo folks have told me that exact cam specs aren't really a HUGE deal unless you are bracket or competitivly racing. You might see a few more ponies from the ideal cam....or spool a couple hundred RPMS sooner....but for a turbo street car, any cammed car will go afster with a turbo.
