Default Cutouts in TSP's rumbler X

I have Jet hot longtubes, to TSP rumbler X with bullets dumped. How much louder will dual cutouts make it? I cant tear into the motor (college is coming up) and i want it to be loud as *****, but not have to drop my exhuast to make it louder, dual cutouts?

Honestly it probably wouldn't be much louder. Bullets offer very little in terms of noise cancellation in the first place. Putting cutouts right after the collectors would be a little louder though since you're in front of the x pipe and bullets.

it will be a little louder, but the sound quality will change. Most people wont consider it to be a nice loud, they will just consider it being noisier. It's going to sound clackity. Like you have an old beat up 8 cyl with a bad muffler.

yah, thats sorta what i thought, and it will be raspy. im not gonna do it, i just wanted somtin for tonite (woodward dream cruize) and i woke up to late to have the shop do it b4 tonite neways haha. owell.

If you got a cam in your car then I would do it as I did. I actually lost power with them open but they were put on just for the noise. It is extremely loud

yeah, u want a cam sooooo bad, but i gotta put a clutch in it now, as my stocker is just about shot at almost 84k. but someday....someday. too bad my dad is a mopar guy, we are building a 800hp 1965 Plymouth belvedere....i wish i could build my SS.

My duals w/ dumps sound awesome. I have all stock internals for now. I tnink once I do a heads and cam swap+ dyno tuning, it'll be lopelicious sounding. I'm going to fab my own SFC's, driveshaft loop, and STB. I'll buy the springs and control arms and the weld on relocation brackets for the rear end.

I have dumps on my duals also. It does make it louder. You will have more rasp and drone that is for certain. Perhaps you should think about it before you do it some more.
