Question Computer Help needed--->

I keep getting a box that says there is an error with internet explorer and it asks me if i want to send an error report, or not. Of course when i choose either option it closes the my internet window.

Why does it keep doing this? How can i fix it??

windex would have fixed it.

however - FF is the only browser I use unless IE is required by an application.

What was it trying to do when it crashed? open a pop-up? play a video file? some sort of java applet? ****?

FF is great for just about everything. Just remember that if you have a problem accessing a site to try IE. Not sure why some sites are like that. Probably wanting to get into bed with microsoft or already are.

coding is why FF does not do so well with some websites. FF sucks at ASP providers and most JAVA and almost all online databases. For the day to day user who just looks at **** and posts on forums, FF is okay. For those that do more, FF is not up to par.
ALL errors that cause IE to crash can be fixed by simply re-installing or knowing when to remove a program that causes another program to crash. I laugh at how many times I get calls because some user needs to see a pop-up...come to find out they have 2 toolbars instaled with built-in pop-up blocking. They never knew and I get called back a week later from the same people with the same issue. :doh:

Many secure Govt sites haven't certified FF. CiscoWorks also is not real keen on FF, but I still use FF for it.

When FF doesn't work, use IE for that site, then return to FF.

FWIW, I've not had trouble with any Java sites with FF.

might be the new build of FF that likes java better but last year I got a few calls about it.
