Default 4l60e dead

so the trans on my car is f*cked. guess the years got to it along with the hard driving. i dont even want to drive the car because it revs too high just to move which causes it to overheat. the trans can completely leave me stranded at anytime.

so i was quoted 2500 for a fully rebilt performance trans with an in house stall converter of my chocie installation and 2 year warranty. i dont know if i should go this route or choose a tranny from someone like monster, raptor, or finish line. anyone have any suggestions? i plan on a 125 shot of spray and need a trans that can handle it.

rock-on or FLT. you'll get the tranny (without the stall) for around 2 grand, but it's likely better than the rebuild you'll get for $2500.

all these companies have a few different levels of transmissions. i dont know which one is really right for me i guess im going to have to call. i have all the mods below plus i will be adding a 125 shot of nitrous. i dont want to end up buying an expensive trans that has way more than i need. hopefully one of the sponsors will read this post.

i ran the car on the dyno when the car's trans was slowly crappin out. it put down 309rwhp which was low probably due to the fact that i was losing alot of power through the tranny. the car should be at around 350rwhp and with the juice it should be at like 450-475.

I would suggest a level 4. It is built for head and cam cars with those #'s.
