Eastern Members - Finally back in an LS1

I have wated one of these since they came out in 01. Now its time to make it run good. :)
I will be going to the track next weekend so we will see how it runs. I'm not going to go crazy but would like to run mid 11s with it.

davered00ss i had two of them (03 cobras). . I went low 11s on Nittos. You couldnt give me another one of them cars. :) and I love Mustangs.

Hey Tracer, how is it going? i hope all is well with you and your family.

Overall the Cobra wasn't that bad but there was just a bunch of little things that drove me crazy. I did go 7.2 in the 1/8th and only spent about $1300 :eek2: .
Tha paint was horible. I didnt drive it on the highway and never drove it in the rain and the paint had chips everywhare at 6000 miles.
The driving posision sucked
The IRS had more creeks and noises than an old rocking chair and everytime you would spin the tires it would wheel hop so bad that it felt like the dash was going to fall in your lap.
I hated the stupid blower noise. It sounded like a kids toy. :eyes:
and it had a rattle under the dash that I couldn't find that drove me nuts.

When I would walk out to my garage and the Cobra and the WS6 were sitting there I would always take the T/A. My wife drove the cobra one time and she said that she would never drive it again. she didn't like it either. :barf:

Things are going well. The little one had surgery yesterday to fix his heart murmur, and he's healing up really well. He should be transported back to St. Elizabeths this weekend. So now we're waiting to see what he has in store for us next. :)

I didn't think the cobras had that many issues. I haven't been keeping up on that (or any) car for a while now. I just glance at my vette in the driveway, before I jump into my Contour. :emb:

I hate the clutch on tha cobra. Fucking leg hurts after driving it.
