i've got a new spec stage 3 clutch and when the clutch isnt depressed theres a grinding/whirl sound coming from below the shifter there so before i bring it back to the shop i want to make sure its not just from the new clutch breaking in since ive never broken one in before. so is that normal or was it installed incorrectly maybe? also the shifting is very notchy, its improved a lil bit since first picking it up but i have to finese it into gear allot and when going into reverse i often have to clear it and go into 5th before it will let me into reverse, the tranny was just rebuilt so im suspecting the clutch there too, orr maybe its cause its breaking in too?? what does everyone think? i think im taking it back..

They prolly didn't do a good job of bleeding the lines.
