Default what the f$$k is up w/ ram hd

just installed a ram hd clutch and slave and from the moment i drove off w/the car it was slipping. Is this common w/ram hd ?. Did they installe it wrong ? any help would be greatly appreciated.

you should have gotten a shim that goes behind the slave, also did you resurface your Flywheel you might need a shim for that also. and no it should not slip at all. mine doesnt like to slip when i engauge it. it just grabs

You need the shim-if not get an adjustable master.

mine doesnt slip at ALL. Everytime i take off, it wants to chatter, or break the tires loose. Im just now getting used to it. I have 150 miles on it, and love it. I can almost take off smooth if i about dump it at 1700-2500 rpm. It sucks in slow moving stop and go traffic though

I have one with a shim behind the slave and it doesn't seem like it's fully disengaging. Do I need to shim the pressure plate? If so how much?

did you resurface your old flywheel or use a new one? if you resurfaced one you need to know how much was taken off?
