Perhaps you should worry more about your reputation and character instead of what methanol to use.

My apologies to the mods.

Methanol is methyl alcohol. Denatured alcohol is ethanol (ethyl alcohol) with a denaturing chemical added to make it poisonous (often methanol is used to denature).

Methanol has lower energy content per unit mass of fuel then ethanol.

Methanol has a lower stoich AFR then ethanol, which means you must inject greater volumes to achieve stoichiometry.

At stoichiometric AFR ratios, methanol combusts with more energy (BTU's per lb of AIR) then ethanol, which means it has the capability to make more power.

Methanol has a higher latent heat of vaporization, which means it removes more heat from the surrounding air when it evaporates. This allows it to have a greater IAT cooling effect then ethanol.

Methanol has a higher octane rating then ethanol.

In short, Methanol will cool better and provide more power then ethanol, however you must inject it more of it per lb of air due to the low stoich AFR. Methanol is also usually cheaper then denatured alcohol.

My reputation is fine and so is my character. No matter what you do in the world you can't make everyone happy. We had a bad deal on both ends so walk away and move on to the next. Quit posting stupid petty bullshit in my post.
