Default which stall for my mods

Alright well mods are as follows. Full suspension work, whisper lid, descreened MAF, !muffler, torquer v.2 cam with comp 918's and chormoly hardened pushrods? Is 3200 too small for a car with that cam? It is daily driven but im not worried about a big stall on my dd. Just want to see what size i should have with a torquer v.2

Thanks

It isn't too small, but it depends what you want.

I would look for something in the 3600-4000 stall speed range with an STR of 2.2-2.5.

If its a street car i'd say Yank SS3800 or if its a race car probably PT4000.

They may have others also that aren't listed on the site.

It really depends on your goals, for a good street car that will drive great on the street and be strong at the track then I would go with a 3200-3500 stall. If your intention is to be a badass strip car without the N2O I would go with a 4400, with the N2O I would not go any higher than a 4000.

If it were my daily driver I would go no larger than a 3200-3500. I really do not like a big stall on the street.

Good luck

Also some manufacturer's stall speeds and STR ratings are not directly comparable between companies because they are measured differently. For example Vigilante converters tend to stall 400-500 rpm higher than advertised behind an LS1.

Just some info I thought might be useful.

I agree. It's why I ended up putting in a Yank SS3200. I love it. It drives beautifully and I've got a heads/cam/intake/injectors/longtubes/ etc., etc. car. It's perfect for the street, IMHO.

I have ran the Yank SY3500 in mine for the past 4 years.. It's an awesome converter with a lower STR... 1.7... Perfect with my set up.
