I just found out that my 200mph Granatelli speedo is coming with the Camaro light colors (blue-green), what the hell is that crap. I have a T/A.
Is it possible to change the bulbs?
I have my old cluster to take apart if need be.

Its a big deal when the entire dash is Trans Am red and then you have bright bluish gauges.
And no, you can't just change the bulbs. The bulbs in both cars are all clear white bulbs, 9 of them in each cluster. The color is manufactured into the plastic face plates. Its like your red brake lights with there white bulbs inside.
However, I did order some high intensity red LED's. Out of the 9 bulbs i put 2 of them in certain spots and it give it a nice maroon color over half the rpm gauge and half of the speedo. If I do all 9 with the LED's it is almost a perfect T/A red match but you can't make out the gauges on the bottom and the numbers in the RPM and speedo are VERY hard to see at night. The 4 other gauges along the bottom are normal bluish-green Camaro color. It looks pretty cool with the maroon in it. Its livable.

i think its pretty <img border="0" alt="[gay]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_rainbow.gif" /> when they made thoes gauges instead of making just blue, or seperate blue, and red. why didnt they just make em clear and gave us the color bulbs that went with the car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
