Default Feel of LS6 clutch.....

I wanted to know what others who have this clutch could tell me about how it feels to them. I had a Spec Stage 3 crap out on me and the feel of that was alot different. There was a lot more pressure with that clutch then this one. It engages almost right away but its like so easy to push it in and out...just very different from what I was used to. Any other people familiar with this clutch? We bled the line and changed the fluid btw. It's going to take some getting used to if this is normal.

I replaced my OE clutch at 73xxx miles with an LS6 clutch. Mine engages almost immediately and no matter how hard I try, it still clunks when I release the pedal. It's stiffer than the LS1 clutch, and seems to hold better at higher rpms, although I don't have many HP mods (catback, lid, CAI).

Mine is like yours Rob in that it engages almost immediately but mine feels pretty easy compared to the Spec that I had. Before I replaced my stock clutch with the Spec it felt only slightly less easier to push then the Spec. I've already gotten used to it now and only stalled it once when I first drove it

That's not because of the clutch, but probably due to air in your hydraulics. Sounds like it's time to flush and bleed the fluid.

I wouold also suggest flushing & bleeding the hydrolics. And if your gettin a clutch get the LS7 set up over the LS6.

Air was taken out and flushed several times. I got a good deal on the LS6 clutch... only $25
