Default 304 SS VS Aluminized SS for INtercooler tubing

Which is better for intercooler tubing the 304 Stainless Steel, or the Alunized Stainless Steel????
Heres the link to the Front page

Heres the 304 stainless steel, Cost 46.99

Heres the Aluminized stainless steel, Cost 26.99

Also can they both be welded with a Wire welder, or stick welder???
I don't have a aluminum welder so thats out of the question.

Any help on choosing which on to use for my Intercoole Tubing??

either would work fine and both can be welded with a wire welder, just hope you have gas.
the stainless will look nicer though

i prefer aluminum, but since you dont have a welder for that i guess its out of the question

I agree with smokin. Cost is always the big factor and the aluminized tubing will hold up quite well if prepped correctly.

what do you mean Prepped?
I will either have it Coated or painted with engine enamel.

FWIW, several of the turbo companies use aluminzed steel tubing for the intercooler piping.

If I were to make some for myself I would probably go with aluminized steel, then jet hot coat it.

I made mine out of 6061 alum then sanded down the tig weld and had them powercoated and they look awesome.

Ok, it looks like I will use the 3inch Aluminized SS for the intercooler piping. ITs also about $20 cheaper than the 304 SS.

I have true duels right now as well that dump at the axle and I plan on getting the BMR relocated Pan hard bar so I can run my 2.5 inch exhaust out the rear. Should I use the Aluminized SS for this as well or the regular stainless steel since its EXHAUST.

IT will be welded up against regular mild steel if that matters?
