What kind should I get? I want very bright lights...maybe white, but I can't afford HID's....Can I just change the bulb out on the stock headlights?

yeah, but I'm not very fond of halos. Don't get me wrong because they look good on most LS1's i've seen, but its not for me.

Those silverstars arent that bright. I like higher color temperatures in lights, those are only 4000k. The ones that I have on mine are 7000k, and they look sweet.

Yeah I just changed the bulbs, and they are Nokya 7000k arctic white lights. They are 120w and I have had them ever since I bought my car and I love them. They are very close to HID's but not quite. I got'em from a local tuner shop for $20 a set. I bought em for my highs and lows.

So I'm guessing they don't sell those at a local autoparts store huh?

Be very careful when buying higher wattage bulbs. If you don't upgrade your wiring to accomodate the higher wattage bulbs you run the risk of frying some very important components.

No I still have the stock fog lights for now. What is the stock wattage on the bulbs for our cars. They should have them at your local auto parts store. Hell I even saw them at circuit city lol.
