Northwest Members - August 31st Convoy to XXX?

I searched for the old thread and couldn't find it, so what's the status on the planned convoy to escort into town that group of classic cars that's crossing the country? It's only 9 days away.

daughters birthday, Plus Daughter has open house at school (gets to meet with her teacher & bring supplies) plus we should be getting more wood to be delievered for the winter.

Yup, that was the one. A few people mentioned they might take the day off and link up with them over the pass somewhere and escort them in to the XXX for lunch.

I recall Don is the one that put this together. So when & where are we supposed to meet?

IIRC, someone was going to call their group leader before they leave and verify what time they will be leaving Spokane and where/when we want to make the intercept, so they know to look for us. Once we know that, we can plan our departure time. XXX is probably a good place to gather to set out to intercept them, since it is a known location and right next to I-90.

I just sent an e-mail to Dave on their website. Hopefully we'll get the appropriate information before they leave on Friday.

I'm willing to take the day off if I can see a few people confirm they'll join me. If I see 3 others confirm they can do it I'm in.

I'm guessing they will leave Spokane around 8am and it's around 4 hours from there to the pass, so if we leave around 10am we should be able to hook up over the pass around 11:30-12ish and be back at XXX for lunch around 1-1:30ish.

If they are not responding to invites then is this even worth trying?
