So a friend of mine has a 2000 Mustang GT (5 Spd.). He is challenging my friend with an LT1 Camaro M6 and me to a race. I've already told him i beat the LT1 and he still wants a peice of me. We are supposed to race sometime soon. Will it be a close race or should i put money on it and rake it in? His mustang is bone stock and he isn't that good of a driver last i rode with him.

Does this question even need to be asked? You've got an A4 T/A with probably over 40-50whp on him. Just make sure not to fall asleep while your smoking him while hitting WOT and watching the car shift for you.

Easy money, though I must say not gonna be that much of a challenge.

Wow... Ok I'll put some money on it then.. I figured i was faster from all of the posts I've read just wanted to make sure on the stock for stock part of it. Will it be a blow out or somewhat close like the LT1 race i had.

Stock vs Stock it goes like this...

LT1 and mustang are close...but if the LT1 can drive he wins....(2:73 auto LT1 vs 03 Auto GT was a 2 length advantage for the LT1)

LS1 beats LT1 by a margin (usually a few lengths)....

Do the math... Should be easy.

yeah, go for it totally! i've pulled on a modded 2000 gt. it was a friend of mine, i was following behind until we found a straight-a-way, he downshifts and punches it, i do the same but the difference was i walked right past him. It was good off the line though, i think he had about 300 hp! 265 hp stock so there you go!
