Anyone know where to get trans for a '96 V6? A freind has a '96 Camaro and needs a trans asap. Any info would help. Trans just lost 1st and 4th. Trans is stock and not used for racing. Any info is appreciated.

just get a stock rebuild on it. On my old V6 I had it rebuilt at a local shop for $900 installed. Getting a used one would have costed me $600 just to get the trans to my door from an f-body salvage yard.. then I'd still have to install it and hope it was good afterward.
