Default Big Mistake On Uni-x

Well a couple of weeks ago I ordered my hooker headers along with a universal x-pipe and some other goodies from Speed Inc. Got my headers on and then drove my car to the exhaust shop to have the X welded up. The owner who does all of my exhausts hadn't arrived yet and when I told his helper what I wanted he didn't tell him exactly what I said. When I returned the X was on but when I drove it home it was hitting from underneath on the transmission crossmember and ground clearance sucks. 3" X-pipe of course haven't really driven it much because it hits and don't want to drag it off. Now I'm thinking of going with the TSP rumbler true duals or going to an ORY and putting my LM back on and ordering the slp muffler to quiet the headers some. What do ya'll think. Thanks in advance.

I just put on some lt's last week, I ran them open for a couple days but decided to go with 3" pipe to an x, and 2 sweet thunder mufflers. Go with true duals, if you do it right you wont have clearance issues. As far as sound, sweet thunders are pretty quiet at idle and low speeds, but when you get on it they are LOUD! Good luck...

If they didn't do it the way you told them to, take it back until they do it right.

Go with true duals. I went from an ORY to the Loudmouth and it sucked major ***** with headers. It was raspy and sounded like ****. I then added a borla xr-1 and it still sounded sloppy. Once i went true duals though, i felt like i got a new car. It is the TSP rumbler with sweet thunders and it's deep down low with a muscle car rumble while cruising, but its loud as hell and refined with a controlled sound up top.

My exhaust man only missed the mark by about 1 1/2 inches on the driver's side which is why it hits. But I'm about to order my bullet mufflers so I figure when I pull it all back down I'll just flatten that spot out some and weld my bullets on myself.

Hows the sound? Is it quiet? Any soundclips?
