As most of you have seen, it is possible to "hack" the cd-changer inputs on a stock head unit and get an AUX input out of it.

You do this via the 9-pin harness and it's 9 wires. The strange thing is this, my car does not have 9 wires!

It has this:

1 - none
2 - none
3 - green
4 - black
5 - orange
6 - black w/ stripe
7 - green w/ stripe
8 - brown w/ stripe
9 - none

or something close (can't remember) but colors are correct.

The wires from the HU go to the "cubby" in the hatch area on the drivers side.

Does anybody have any ideas what i should do?

if it makes a difference, the black and orange are a guage or 2 bigger than the rest.

The black, green, and brown wires with the stripes on them are the colors of onstar wiring. Black is usually the radio ground, orange is memory and on certain cars green ignition or accessory. What kind of car do you have?

Tomorrow while at work I will find out who makes it but I have a module specifically for adapting the changer input to an aux in. I will get back to you as soon as I get home tomorrow.
