Default original stall or not?

When I bought the car the guy said it had a 2800 stall. When I floor it from a stop it flashes to 3000-3100 but then shifts back down to 2200? Should in it stay above 2800.When I drive regular it shifts at 1800.What is the stock stall shifts?

Hard to tell unless you have a trans brake. You can try brake stalling it but its not that accurate and it depends on your brakes and rubber. I think the stock stall was 1800.

SHiftpoints don't know nuthin' from converters.
But a stock converter won't let you load it up
to 3000RPM on the brake.

Yeah I don't think you would be able to flash a stocker to 3K. By the way I think you were great in Smokey and The Bandit 1 and 2.
