Sygate firewall acting up, help.

Sygate firewall acting up, help. I don't know what's been going on with my Sygate firewall, but when I boot up my computer, a window pops up saying smx or sme cannot be rear and says a bunch of other stuff that I don't remember and couldn't paste and also, when the booting process finishes and reaches my desktop, I get another message saying Sygate was having some difficulties doing something then asks me to send or not to send some error report. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Anyone? Its not even working. I deleted it, then redownloaded it and still no workie. I want the protection, but if its not even doing its job, I might as well get rid of it and download another one. If that's the case, anyone have any suggestions?
