whats the minimum setup you would need to pull the wheels and carry them a little. i have a 550 rwhp 02 auto camaro on nitrous with a 3600 converter. 4.10 rear is going in but i was thinking maybe bigger. also i run et street slicks, 26.5 tall. thanks for the help

I don't see how you can possibly have a problem. Have rear LCAs, PHB, and torque arm? I realize these aren't all necessary for that, but they definitely help. I also assume you have some sort of a bar/cage in the car if you have that kind of power to help with chassis rigidity. Reduce weight from the front if your tires grab but you are still having problems with pulling the wheels. Run skinnies, fiberglass hood, etc.

If you have trouble hooking up, step up to a 28" tall tire and see what happens then.

I have 100 less RWHP in my '94 than you (NA, bottle is a different story  ) with a SSF 3500 'verter and pull the wheels no problem. Work on suspension and lightening the front end.

If the track is prepped with VHT you should be able to pull them.
V6 front springs will help.

V6 springs wow i just got rid of mine cause when i would get on the car and let off the frame would smash on the ground.i DO NOT think V6 springs is a good idea they were very bad for me.

I run V6 springs on the rear. My fronts (on my '94 at least) are stock, but I run QA-1's all the way around and they are usually on "1" up front for the track.

Whadda ya expect from a guy who races and beats on an ultra rare collector car?

Oh hi Mike. :jest:

Make the front end lighter. Battery in the back, skinnies, washer tank, k-member, ac(if you can). Couple that with some stickies and viola.

!front swaybar

you may need lighter springs for weight reductions maybe 275 or less

all in the correct suspension . you have plenty of power . shocks, control arms, drag bar(like the wolfe one) will help a ton and car will lancuh hard and straight every time.
with the right suspension setup and a little weight reduction up front you can get 350rwhp cars to lift :)

my cars stock internal, 330 rwhp, cuttin 1.52's and I yank them pretty good. its all in suspension setup. A wolfe or madman torque arm does wonders

What rpms are you guys leaving at to pull the front wheels with that little power? ( 350 whp ) Is this on the street or at the track? Asphalt or concrete? What kind of tire?

I could pull my front tires a bit on my 17" Nittos at the track with MAYBE 350 rwhp on a good day. It's more about suspension than raw horsepower.
