Default Service engine light?

my service engine light came on yesterday after racing a 350Z. I scaned it the code today at autozone and it read 1out of 2 but it wasthe same code.P0430 catalastic efficiency below threshold(bank2) anybody know whats wrong? 02sensors or cats?I deleted the code and its been of so far but I am afraid it might come back. does this affect the cars perf. in any way? should I get this fixed ASAP?
thanks!

if your car is less than 8 years old and less than 80k..the dealer will replace the cat...it went bad...not a big deal, the light will come back on roughly 70 miles after you deleted it.

Don't need to be the original owner, it's covered under the federal emissions warranty if you're under 80K. P0430 is the passenger side cat.

Post cat 02 codes don't affect performance, but if it's partially clogged/rattling/coming apart inside could slow you down.

you'll be fine..it jsut means your cat isn't working...unless it rattles really hard, it might cause some knock retard, but I highly doubt that is possible. I bought my car at 50k..drove 120 miles and the check engine light came on for that..got it replaced, drove 3k miles..same ****. i drove 3k miles the second time.

your cat pretty much gutted itself.... don't worry about it, if you want a new one..just go to the dealer..as long as your aren't more than 8 years old and hav eless than 80k, if you are above those, call up a local tuner and see how much they'll charge you to tune out the rear o2s, then you can jsut gut the cats if you wish.
