I believe they're re-coated Hooker LTs.

they are not... they are "Hooker Style", but they are made from a thicker steel, and have a thicker flange... i think they just bought the design from hooker and improved on it.

i have them, and i like them. mine have been on my car for almost 2 years and they have alittle surface rust on them, but are not peeling and are in good condition

I like mine too. They slipped right in, no issues. Good quality header.

I have the Jet hot headers and "did" have the y-pipe. The headers are pretty nice but the y-pipe unless they improved upon it is junk. Mine actually broke at the merge point due to various reasons. The merge itself is crap. It's almost a 90 degree bank. The sound was much smoother after getting a custom y-pipe done and getting it all welded up.

I remember now. It's been a while since I read anything on them.

They are a good quality header. Mine slipped right into place on both sides. Didn't have to force the driver's side header in there like most other headers in this price catagory. You made a good decision.

I was very happy with my Jet Hot headers and I agree I was never thrilled with the y-pipe.

Dal1as how do you think it broke was it from rubbing or hitting on something or did it simply just break off from sheer vibration?
