So after the 6.0 bore / 4.8 stroke thread I was thinking about all the combinations for Gen III/IV engines. There a quite a few combinations, and many are pretty good, but some are just odd.

How about 470.1 CI?
If that new cast iron block GM is working on becomes a reality, it will almost certainly be capable of a 4.200 bore (the aftermarket sbc are and they share the same bore spacing). Combine that with the 4.250 stroke crank and there you have it.

.7854 is PI/4, so you don't have to divide the bore by 2.
Now .7854 are the four numbers going clockwise from the upper left corner of the keypad on calculators and computers, so you don't have to remember the number or use the PI key or remember PI.
My memory is so short, so I need all the help I can get. I can remember bore, stroke and number of cylinders....usually.
