my worst nightmare just happened .... alright the story gets real climatic, but ill start by saying that i went to the local wawa to get iced tea and ran into a 94 formula m6 with boltons. he wanted to do a 2nd gear roll so i agreed. smoked the **** outta him. we went back to the wawa and whats sittin there? ... SRT4. christ i hate this car with a passion. and ALL the owners of them are cocky as ****.
well he starts talkin trash on my car and whatnot and he wont say what he has under the hood and is beggin to race me on a backroad. i tell him no, my car is loud as **** and the cops will be there in no time. i said ill do 1 run on the highway in a low gear and thats it. the highway we were on has barriers on each side so theres no place for cops to hide.
my one question for him was "do you have a boost controller" .... he said no. I know with those you can up the boost and run real quick.
ok so were on the highway and he says slooowww down. we do a 30 roll in 1st gear.
3 honks ... i pull an easy car length and a half immediatly. then, he starts pullin .. harder ... then passes me 1 car length by the time we hit 80 or so.
turns out he has new fmic, full exhaust, intake, bov, and other little things.
this only makes me more determined to get dyno tuned since im runnin rich as ****. and also a few more mods to get into the 12's woulndt hurt

Don't worry bro, anyway you cut it, he still drives a NEON, and women and children all over the world rejoice in his mighty story. A few things here and there, and he's back to wishing he had a car that didn't look as though 3 overweight jessica simpson wannabees, with bad dye jobs were driving in, going to the mall to buy some new body spray to cover up the fact that they have that "not so fresh feeling".

That sucks, But I feel you will have your revenge. I have a bud who has an SRT4, he even painted his rims gold. 
Anyway, hes always wanted to race, now I am doing a H/C and Gear swap to 4.10s. Suddenly he doesnt want to run em. Even though hes got 4+k in mods. Still wont run. So sad.

I was expecting to hear about some accident or something like your car caught on fire......something.
dammit man.
on the neon note... be glad that you only got beat by a car,...some of these srt's are much faster then the one you ran against.

Don't worry about it. They can definetely be very fast cars. I lost to one tonight as well. Same exact mods pretty much. As has been said, be glad that you only went to 80mph, it could have gotten really ugly. When we went from 50-110 tonight he didn't pull the 1 car until 100mph.
