Yank SS3600
I talked to Yank and they reccomended this converter to me. Will this converter work ok for DD? They said since I have 3.73 gears it should work very well with the 2.5str to drive more stock like. And does this converter have the balooning plate for nitrous? Thanks.

Will the converter still work with the nitrous? Ive heard you have to have that plate if you have nitrous or your wasting your time.
Also is there a better converter that will be alittle more easy on the tires? I love the Nitto's, I daily drive them so I need a tire that can last longer then 4k miles like MT's.

While we are on the subject though, what does an anti-ballooning plate get you?

I too spoke with Mke @ Yank... I have had my Yank SY 3500 for about 5 years now and i DD my car.. I really like the low STR "1.68" coupled with my 323's... They don't make the SY3500 anymore.. I too am considering the SS3600 for my new Rock on Level 4...
My car however is nowhere near stock.. I am running a 232/236 .595 .601, LS6 Ported heads,FAST 90/90,Trueduals,pulley,long tubes.etc....
Mike told me this converter would work well with my set up for daily driving.
$725.00 shipped to my door.

Well I should probably add that its also made to feel closer to stock than some of the more "race" oriented converters but it can have a wide range of uses also. I will probably change mine in the future to something with a lower STR when I have a different gear in the rear and/or a built engine. But for now its perfect.
