Default T/Body

I have a 99 Z28 Camaro LS1 and I have a chance to buy a secondhand T/body from a 2000 Corvette LS1.

Are these the 2 interchangleable as I want to port and modify one of them to make it flow a little better?

Cheers Andy

No because the LS1 F-Body has a throttle body that is cable driven and I believe the LS1 Y-Body has a throttle body that is electronically controlled.

If you really want to save your money, port and polish your stock tb. It's easy. There is a write up for it and follow it step by step.

+1...

You can also go onto the "parts for sale" section and pick one up.

Thanks for the replys guys, I am in the UK so it's hard to find people who are willing to ship stuff to me.

Where can I find the tb port and polish write up.

If I'm honest the only reason I have not ported my own is I'm worried I might mess up so I would have the original one to fall back on.

Cheers Andy

Type tb port or port and polish tb on search and you'll get your answers. As long as you don't rush doing this you won't mess up. Just take your time and you'll see an exceptional results for little $$ spent.
