What exhaust housing choices do I have with this turbo?
Now that I'm inching closer and closer to finally installing my kit I'm thinking that I might want to go smaller on my exhaust housing. The turbo I have I believe is a Garret TV series with a 76mm compressor wheel. The exhaust housing is a AiResearch with a 108A/R, T6 flange, it's 5" where the downpipe mounts. Everything is mounted with vbands. Are there any other exhaust housings in a T4 flange that will fit this turbo or are all the housings pretty much interchangeable? I would like to get something that will allow me to build boost by at least 3000rpm's with as little lag as possible. This is going on a street only car. It will probably never see the drag strip. I know a .96A/R is recommended but how about a .81A/R?

my TV7511 came with a .96 AR housing....i actually just walked in from working on it..im waiting for paint to dry haha.
you may be able to snag one from a junk yard for cheap...they use the tv75's on detroit's 6v91 motors. The tv7511's i know came from those engines.
i know with some of those turbos youre stuck with the exhaust housing it came with because of casting differences but im not totally sure.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm still not sure wich turbo it is. Some have said a TV75 series and some have said a TV81 series. I tried to find all the specs on this turbo by going back in search and in find more posts by me but neither are working. I belive the compessor is 76 inducer and 101-102 exducer. The exhaust I don't remember. Something like 98 inducer and 87 exducer but not sure. I thought that the housings might differ because of the large shaft/bearing turbos vs. the regular 76mm T4 turbos.

That turbine wheel looks like a TV71 my TV81 wheel is much bigger. With the TV71 turbine You could go all the way down to an .84AR if you wanted to. That would spool up easily before 3000RPM. Here's a pic of one with the .84AR
