New build in the works...
Well since I spun a bearing I figured now would be time to do a complete build and see what these 3.8's can do!
New build will be built by Abbott racing heads
L32 rods
Diamond Pistons rings and pins
cometic gaskets
ARP Rod Bolts
ARP Main Studs
Comp Cam: 218/218 528/528 114
Comp 918 Valve springs
Comp. Push rods
Titanium retainers
Comp OE lifters
ARP heads studs
Bore
fully ported heads and intakes
Hone
Deck
Install cam bearings freeze plugs and block balance shaft oil hole
Balance crank rods and pistons
Turn crank
Yes it's still going to be a V6
Looking to have the engine mid to late Sept.

I suggest seeing if the Conley's who are the local experts on Turbo charging V6 . i.e. Tweaked, Category 6, BObby Don, they have all ran from 7.60 on tweaked to 8.32 on Category six, to a 5.80 in the eigth mile for Bobby Dons. Plus they have many more they have built. Can even keep it on the street. Real Sleeper!! They are on here as a sponsor as well. Take a look at Conley's Performance Plus

Sorry about the link.
Everyone has their own goals. Mine happens to be to hold the V6 record. I'm not going to be modding a V8 until the new camaro comes out . Although I have been thinking of tossing a turbo on the Tahoe nothing dramatic, maybe 5PSI.
Edit: Not to mention the look on peoples faces when they find out a V6 camaro just out performed their V8.
The current record for F-body v6's is 11.864 @ 113.82 mph

For y'all saying the V6 doesnt have potential and to swap an 8 in, chew on this
60' - 1.4891
330' - 4.0390
594' - 5.7468
1/8 - 6.1317
mph - 116.90
1000- 7.9311
mph - 135.86
1/4 - 9.4638
mph - 146.65
That was set by a twin turbo FWD GTP with a stock L67 short block, the GTP guys have their **** together. the V6 F-body guys have the same motor but have been slow on the ball, mainly cause any one wanting to go drag racing woulda opted for the V8, at any rate, their starting to come around, havent see any one build a purpose built V6 F-car drag car yet, be intresting when some one does.

The GTP guys run fine, its you F-body guys that need to hop on it and build a dedicated drag car. really suprised none of the GTP shops have dont that yet. Most all the suspension stuff is well developed for the 4th gen, pushing the FWD GTP record is cool, but just imagine...
