How do you get speaker wire through the grommets into the door for the mids? I'm overhauling my system little by little. Today I was running some wires and had the kick panels off. I took a quick look under the dash and noticed it's not immediately obvious where the opening is to get the wires out to the door. Am I going to have trouble running the new wires? Thanks.

I don't know about the pass. side, but I just did something like that on the driver's side. I straightened a metal coat hanger and pushed it through the grommet. It takes a little finesse, but it's not impossible.

No one else has ever run wires into the doors?

i used some 4 convuctor 16 gauge in wall speaker wire, (looks like an extension cord thickness, 3/8") and simply took the boots out of the car, and the door, and slid the wire through, from door to the inside, once inside, i pulled it all through.

Worked great, took about 5 minutes. (seperates in the doors, that wire worked great, so i can mount the Xovers in the trunk, built into my amp rack.

I just tapped the wire harness in the trunk and the wires were already ran for me from the factory. That works if you are not going to use the factory amp in the trunk that is. My amps are mounted in the trunk so it was really convenient.

Good Luck
