Does the Corvette 4l60e have same length tailshaft as F body?

Yes I searched. I presume the overall length of the Vette tranny is the same as the F body from 93+.

The C5 trans will not bolt up to an F-body, C4 will. We can't answer your question until you let us know what Corvette is the 4L60E out of.

Well it's a more complex question which is the reason for the simple question in the first place. I was looking at maybe doing a 4l80e conversion in the future cuz I'm thinking the 700r4 isn't gonna last. Look at this link down to "Attention C4 owners." They are supposed to have a kit that will make the 4l80e the same length as a C4 transmission. (Also have 27 spline shaft.)

I guess you did answer my question. I wanted to reuse my d/s. Instead of shortening the shaft, now I can just shorten the tailshaft.
