What would be the essential first mods for a C5? I'm picking up an A4 00 Coupe tomorrow and would like to add a few things.

The corvette wave should be the first mod.

^^LOL True. Other than that if your looking to spend money, Then I would go. Intake, TB bypass. And maybe an Exhuast if you want. I was cheap and did the Frre mods first while saving for the others.

Is this one going to smell like cigarettes and dolce/gabbana cologne too?
I'd find a Z06 ti catback, flows better, lighter, deals abound. Congrats. The wave is goofy but I do it.

Magna-charger and hood. :D Sell something to pay for it. Sell everything if needed.
Congrats on the Corvette!!!
I can't wait till I can get another daily driver. I'd love to rock a C5/6 everyday... instead of looking at a garage queen. :(

Well, since I'm a non-smoker nowadays..... It's probably just going to smell like dolce/gabbana and pussy! Let me know if you see any Ti exhausts come up.

I used to live up by Grayslake. I've moved back to the city, but still commute up to my summer place in Lake Geneva. Wish I could make it tomorrow, family functions take precedence. Let me know when the next one is, or any local Corvette events. As far as mods, I've already got a Carbon Fiber twin filter intake and a Borla Stinger exhaust.

LOL ^^^ wow. well this is what you do. While driving down any local road, or highway. If you see another Corvette of any kind this is what you do.
1. The simple hand slightly up wave.
2. If your top is off you get get a little crazy and wave out that opening.
3. The lazy hand on top of the wheel wave. (harder to spot but still counts)
4. The hand out the window Peace sign (not quite a wave be still effective)
5. The crazy passenger. ( this is where your passenger is way to excited and cant control his arm movement resulting is a very odd/ almost frantic wave)
Id say work on those 5 for now, and after some time behind the wheel we can take you to the next step. :)
