Default LS6 intake or not?!?

Here is the situation. I bought this car off tech last March. The gentleman said it had an LS6 intake and camshaft (with springs). I do not think this is an LS6 intake since it does not look like others I have seen. The number above the firing order on the driver side is stamped: 12561184. Below are two pictures for reference. I !EGR and !AIR last winter.

Any insight is appreciated

Andy

Did some google'ing....

Per an old Ls1Tech thread....didnt come up in search

"The old LS1 intake with the EGR setup is 12560688.

The Stock 2001-2002 F-body LS6 is 12561184.

The Z06 LS6 is 12573572.

These are the numbers stamped on the manifold"

I did a search and it said 12561184 was an '01 up F-Body LS6 intake. I don't know why it would have EGR provisions, though. Were the SLP LS6's w/EGR a modified factory LS6 intake??

I bought the car with the "cam" (if its in there) and the intake already installed. I am going off of someones word. I do not have receipts or any documentation to go off of.

If your search function is working (it's been iffy the last couple of days) search for your P/N in this forum. You'll turn up a lot of info.

Nice. Now I cant really find out about the cam until I pull the motor apart. The only reason I posted this was since I flashed the PCM with some ls6 values and began tuning the car.

Thanks for the replies.

What did the egr tube look like when you cut it off? The SLP looks like this, i guess a flare fitting?

That SLP intake looks differently than mine...here is the SLP intake pic:

Here is my intake with EGR:

I did not cut anthing off. It was one bolt holding it into the intake. The SLP one appears to have recessed areas where the EGR pipe bolts to. If you look at my first pictures, my intakes top is flat with no recesses.
