Default fuel pump help, info needed

I did some work on a friends camaro last week and spotted this huge holley fuel pump next to the fuel tank. I dropped the tank for him and in return he gave me the fuel pump for my setup.

I dont know anything about this pump. here are the numbers that were on the bottom of it. can anyone shed some light on this pump? will it work for EFI? or is it ment for a carb?

here is everything that was on the bottom:

L-6145, A213, Holley, 34R-7446b

I tried looking at holley's website to see if it was on there, but it wasnt.

can anyone help me out? my car is starving fuel right now big time, and need a fuel pump...if this thing will work for it I will use it in a haertbeat...this thing is huge. I will have a pic tomorrow.....

Looks like a simular post was done on another forum, http://www.grmotorsports.com/board/v...641819bbd892e4
They talk of an MR2, looks like they got no where with the numbers either.

The 34R-7446b is the holley p/n for the pump, but it must be older than I am, and thats pretty damn old. Holley doesn't even list it anywhere on their web site anymore. The search button won't even find it. Your best bet is to just buy a Walbro 255. It will supply plenty of fuel for your engine.

That is a old Holley pump with a Summit part number of 12-801. Its replacement is HLY 12-801-1. New design to make them a little more quieter.

I just ordered a new one. My old big red pump went out today.

I googled 34R-7446b and it came to this thread. I had to dig through all my old receipts to get the original part number for this pump.
