Z06 vs. Z06!!

Z06 vs. Z06!! So last night the g/f and I had the Z out. Met up with a few friends of hers, one with a yellow C6 with exhaust, and the other, a black '02 Z06. the '02 has a vararam, exhaust, and supposedly a built tranny (not sure if the clutch was upgraded or not). I REALLY wanted to do some runs from a dig, but traffic prevented us from doing it. We did however get 2 runs in from a slow 1st gear roll.
1st run: 3 honks and we're off, I powershift 2nd and the *** gets squirelly so I let out and get back in. Apparently he had the same problem, because I could hear both of our tires squeeling for traction.
It was pretty much a dead heat in 2nd, powershifted 3rd and started inching on him. I wound out 3rd gear and banged 4th. When we got out of it we were doing about 140 
and his nose was probably about even with my rear bumper. HOLY HELL THAT WAS A GOOD RACE!!! 
2nd run, pretty much the same as the 1st race, maybe a TAD more even....and then I missed 4th. I think I got a little too excited with watching him next to me and botched it. Oh well.......GREAT races!
Cliff Notes: Stock Z06 takes out slightly modded Z06.
I'd venture to say that they were all a bit surprised at the outcome of the race. Although.....I think I had the Driver mod on my side which helped. I'm pretty quick with the stick. Nice kids and a nice bunch of cars. I had a lot of fun!!!! We got it on video, so hopefully we can get it uploaded soon!

very nice! How do you like the VaraRam? I'm trying to get the g/f to let me start modding it for her. I'd like to do a basically the same thing you've got done, VaraRam, LG Pro long tubes, and a tune. Did you ever run the car stock?
