ls1 missing at high rpms help?

Question ls1 missing at high rpms help?

i have a 98 ls1 with a 10 psi vortech system aftercooled and 42 # injecters. ok now this is whats going on any were above 3000 rpms it will start to cut out it will like change every time like 3500 or 4000? but if i keep the gas to the floor it will start missing and spitting. if feels like i loose the boost but my boost gauge stays up? any help?

First off I would stop trying to go rev thru it. Your going to mess something up. Do you have a tune on the car or what vortech gave you? What is your fuel pressure? Do you have a wideband on the car? Have you checked the plugs? What kind of plug are you running? Need to post a little more bro for any of us to help you out

i have a tune not sure if its right ive done it on ls1edit, i dont no fuel pressure lol no wideband no i have not checked the plugs i think ill start there probely..

Ive been reading about valvefloat lately on boosted LS1's. Id venture to bet it is tired valvesprings.

Let us know what they look like. Could also be a fueling problem.

Check your plugs you might of fouled them. Look for oil on them.
