Default Ran a SRT-8 300C in the GTP, Ouch!

Ran into a black one last night on the interstate, wish I was in the camaro but unfortunately I wasn't. Decided to play with him just to see exactly how fast they are, well, I learned real quick! My 265 S/C'd horsepower couldn't hang with that big boat with 425hp N/A. Took a pick as he dusted my *** This GTP will move but not like that car, very impressive.

They are boosting those 6.1L's allready?!! ****! I need that procharger for the Z-28 then, cars these days are making incredable horsepower stock and with boost so it makes it harder to compete with an older car. Guess the tax return will have to go for a supercharger instead of home remodeling.

Man that sucks you lost...hope u get to race one in the z-28, i been looking for one around here and haven't found one on the highway yet. Saw a guy get out of one today as i was driving by, but he was kinda old so I didn't think it was worth the time to stop and walk in and see if he would. Also saw a Porsche today and got behind it long enough to get cut off by 2 cars and miss a light he made.....

Yeah, Meridiam MPS had one in a Charger that they just put a ProCharger and a 100 shot in it. It oughta be quick.

Well considering I was in a slow 2005 GTP I kinda figured he was going to pull me hard but if I was in the Z-28 it would've been a different outcome. I know good and well at that speed on the interstate he would've needed more than that to outrun my camaro. We'll see though, I'm looking for him everyday!

yeah I'm bone stock with only 6,000 miles too. It's fast for a 4 door family car though, I'm impressed with it but compared to my Z-28 this car ain't even close in performance. As soon as the warranty expires I'm going to mod this one, got to find out some more information on the motor first though. Anyone know of a good tech website for newer model GTP's that I can find some good modding info?

My GTP w/ a pulley and intake only runs 14.5 and that is with a 2.0 60'. Those things run low to mid 13's.

Good stuff there, I'm impressed with the turbo replacements.

98LS1: Check out www.clubGP.com they have an 04+ section there and theres a lot of good info there.

WHPLASH: Your probably getting some knock with that set up! Get a 3" DP and a ZZP/DHP PCM and you should be down in the high 13s with little knock.

I do have to get a new down pipe. I have an exhaust leak there. But, I asked my boss today for a company car and he didn't say yes, but he didn't say no. I'd like to get rid of it. It has 97k on it.

I've been driving it with the pulley and intake since 20k. Good car.
