help with wheel finish and spacer/offset size on Y2ks for the hawk
OK guys, since search is being a little hooker and keeps timing out ill just go ahead and ask it. im looking at a machined or chrome set of Y2Ks for the Hawk, but the dimensions are: Front 17 x 8.5" - 56mm and Rear 18 x 9.5"- 65mm, with this offset wont i need spacers in the rear to keep from rubbing?? if so what size? also are they cheap? Thanks in advance guys. if youd like to leave opinions on the finish of the wheels im open to that as well, im sorta on the fence

Hey i want those exact wheels for my car, and I was pretty set on chrome, but those other ones look nice as hell. Where are you going to be getting them from? where are the pics from?

oh and yes, you will need a spacer in the rear. 65 mm offset is A lot. Vette wheels are all backspacing. And i wouldnt go with the 17/18 combo, I would do 18s all around. I dont think it looks right on an f body. A vette is designed to have a smaller diameter tire up front. U would have to put a larger profile tire up front to make it the same diameter as the rear, and it doesnt look right. Ive seen, 18x9.5" Y2Ks with 54mm offset which would work perfectly, but I havnt found where to buy them yet.

there is a place out of FL i found on corvetteforum.com where im gettin mine, they offer 10.5 in the rear with a 58 so they wont hit the fender, and the 9.5 in the front with a 53 so they dont look retarted, all in a 18" of coase, anything smaller looks stupid imho!
