Default th400 kickdown cable install question

i am having a kickdown cable put on my th400 and the guy installing it said he sees were it mounts on the tranny but doesnt see how it actually connects to the trans and tells it to down shift. its the lokar electric kickdown unit. anyone install this. tried the search and didnt really find anything.

400's don't have KD cables,they use a single spade connector right behind the shift shaft.The switch above the accel pedal sends 12 volts to this.Not familiar with the locar "KD cable" kit but that male spade needs 12 volts to downshift.
