I have read that reverse split are really good on more restrictive setups, like log manifolds.

I think in normal truck manifold setups guys lean more towards an equal duration cam. Speed incs popular turbo grind is a 225/225.

However, I bet that stealth cam would perform good for you.

Personall, I dont think of the truck manifolds as logs. I think of a log as in where both cylinder banks feed into 1 manifold and then the turbo.

Well, I went Z06 on mine mainly based on cost/hp. I got the used Z cam for 115$, a new cam would be about 350-400. Figured I could get a meth kit for around the difference and make more hp.

But, if I could have found a used LPE or stealth cam I would have bought them.

I dont think you can go wrong whichever one you get. Heck, MM made awesome power with a stock 98 cam. KP made awesome power with a Z06 cam.

Reverse splits are over-rated.

My cam is 224/236-114.

My new 800-1000rwhp cam is a 236 single pattern.

If I was doing a 500-800rwhp combo, I'd probably go liker 225/225 on the lower side, and 230/230 on the bigger side.

116 lsa's will idle nice, but you have to pick your cam specs based on what you are looking for.

hmm 230/230?

So how would a 230/232 595/585 114 work with an sts kit?

That's the same cam I decided on. Sold my LT's and went with 01+ Manifolds and stock Y. Haven't run it yet, but I'm hoping between those changes it will spool the ***-mount better.

Going to be... Haven't gotten the motor together yet, grenaded the last one. Decided to run a stock Y, which I believe is 2.5", and then go to 3" at the I, into a bullet (which I had before) then into the turbo and then dual outlet (one on each side) with probably 3 or 4" sewer pipes (to cover the turbo/wastegate).
