in california no possible way without having smog issues. FI is the only way here . freaking sucks.

On a "IF" basis the trex, or magic stick that kind of cam with heads ported to the teeth, fast 90/90 , long tubes true duals no cats on a sleeved 346 to 402ci+

I agree bud, those Z06's are insane. I can't wait to get my car done and run one, NA vs FI and I bet it'll still be a close race! No replacement for displacement, unless you have a blowdrier! A 402 with some 225cc heads ported to the max, running some pretty good compression and a big time cam, suspension work, and traction you may run close, but most likely get run down. =\ Power/weight ratio is a huge factor.

A stock LS7 puts about 445 hp to the rear wheels.

A big cam and good heads will do it on a stock bottom end

....and a 402 or 408 will put out around 500 hp to the rear wheels.

It's not too hard to do really.

What do C6 Z06's run stock? Way faster than an F-body with 445rwhp. =\

I have watched videos on the net, and seen lots of them run, it seems 12.1 to 11.7 stock, but with drg like 11.2 I heard. i want to see one run in real life in our crapy valley, you know the air and all the other crap in our air. on the other hand all the vids are in different states, our air pisses me off when i hear people with stock f-bodys in other states running low 13's or even a coulpe of very high 12's and here we are like mid high 13's on stock f-bodys.

im at 430rwhp and 430 rwtq with my current setup have much improving to do

its not the power that wins the race, its gearing and weight. i raced my friends and by the time i was at the top of third (not his third by a long shot) he had a good 3 cars and pulling hard, this was from a 40 roll

you need a strong 500-525 rwhp to contend with those things

My C6Z dyno'd 468hp & 427tq with 1900 miles on the odometer. It now has 4500 miles~~and is faster...

(This was a stock,as delivered, not massaged, not molested factory equipped car.)

Did I mention it has zero mods, too?
