you could do it now to get the most power out of your mods then when you add more stuff getting it retuned each time will be cheaper than the initial cost of the tune.

is it absolute necessary=no
will you need a tune to realize all the power the lts=yes
if you don't plan on any more major mods in the next few months i'd say get a tune and enjoy all the extra power but if you do something else like get a cam it will be that much money threw away.

We got 9hp out of the tune after my Mac mids, ORY, and Corsa's. But more over I got my Air/EGR and rear O2's deleted so I could get the LS6 on. Biggest thing I found out is that I am getting false knock. Only thing that really got my 9hp was limiting the sensitivity of the knock sensors.
