I had all my exhaust put in the other day and got my pcm tuned for general performance and code deleting. Now when I drive the car i smell like ive been in a drag car all day. I smell like gas/exhaust. There is no sign of any exhaust leak anywhere. I was just kinda wondering if anyone else suffers from it (not really a bad thing lol) or could I be running rich?

um...you put an ORY on your car! lol of course you smell like gas, you have no cats the only cure is to put cats on your car or else you will always smell like gas. the gas smell and rasp are reasons why i'd never touch an ORY with a 10 foot poll. only way i'd consider running catless is if i went TD's.

Hmmm... before I had a tune with my TDs, it didn't smell that bad at all. Well at idle at a light, the fumes would creep in, but inside the car NEVER smelt like gas, etc. while driving the car... If you personally smell like gas, I'd say it's not just the ORY...? Maybe I don't realize how much it stunk before a tune, so I might be talking out of my ***.

EDIT: ok I actually READ your post... You already have a tune, I honestly have no idea why it smells THAT bad, sorry. Maybe ORY smells different to everyone, maybe to me it smells like fresh air

I have ORY and it's barely noticeable as far as any gas scent.
I've never smelled it in the car with the windows down, idling or driving.
I have never smelled like gas ever riding in it.
I have smelled gas ever so slightly when I've gotten out of the car after it's been run hard. There is quite probably something else wrong. I wouldn't blame it on being catless.

Well I run a TSP 3" ORY off my Pacesetter LT's & I have never smelt gas inside the car. I can smell some outside the car after its been running for a while or if I'm reving it up. Its just from not having cats. I also ride with my windows down most the time & hardly ever notice it even at a stop light. It has never been close to makin me smell though.

I have the TSP True duals with no cats and no tune. I can smell fumes at a stop just slightly, and I can smell it outside the car after I've driven it. I never smell it on myself or when driving around.

hey man, i smell like gas too once in a while..
I only smell like it after long nights of driving with the t tops down, around town...not highway..if my tops are up and windows are up, and my AC is on im cool, its just from fumes settling in the car at stop lights and all...And I only smell like it after about 20 minutes of driving...I am untuned...so we will see after the tune if it helps..
I have Sweet Thunder TD's with LT's !cats, CME...
I dont mind it though as it as it is not my DD, I like smelling like raw horsepower hahah

i guess i would try to seafoam it there might be some oil in the intake that you couldnt smell b4 you removed the cats... my car smelt like an old clunker and i just seafoamed it and the smell went away(also have a catch can ) but the smell of GAS is never good..its either got a gas leak of some sorts or its runnin extremly rich IMO

Throw in a wicked cam with the ORY and a nasty lope, you'll notice it big time. Especially a cam with big low VE reversion.

a few of you guys must not have read.... HE HAD A ******* TUNE

running true duals here and smell gas everyday i drive the car. whether it's backing out or idling at a light... it's strong

only has to do with cats or no cats... i'm not running rich at all
