Default Worth It or Wait???

Would it be worth buying a used TTi Street kit (smaller one with 60-1 turbo) for 2 grand. I want a T-76 and at least 700rwhp. I know this kit wont do it. So i was gonna upgrade. Or should i just wait and buy the new parts. Ill probably end up having to uprgrade the intercooler downpipe, possibly BOV and Wastegate and deffinently turbo. So Opinions please!!!!

Just wait and buy mine.

I think it depends on how soon you want 700hp. If you want a starter kit that will make 450-500 rwhp then 2 grand is not bad.

I am not sure a TTi street kit will get you 700rwhp, but mabye 600-650.

If you honestly won't be happy with less than 700 rwhp then I would pass on the older "street" kit with a small turbo and wait until you have the resources to build your dream turbo car.

i think a couple of people have gotten almost 700rwhp with one of those kits, but i wouldnt do that do to the back pressure issues.
I made 700rwhp alot easier on my truck manafold kit, then with my tti street kit., but i dont have AC right now.

Do you already have a forged engine and supporting fuel system for 700 rwhp?

Also, I was half serious about mine. It will be for sale in about 2-3 months.

Yes i will have the supporting mods for turbo. This isnt my daily driver. Car wont be ready for a while due to me going back overseas. And i will not have A/C. I dont ever use it. I was taking the damn thing out anyway. Robs my HP and Weight. The Truck manifold kit is a custom one you built??? And Bowtie didnt you just get it? Why selling already?

I took out my AC too, have not missed it yet.

I will probably sell my kit for a couple reasons. One is I don't need AC, which is the best thing about the TTi street kit. Two, it is limited on turbo size without cutting. But the main reason is this kit has given me so many problems I have no love for it anymore. I plan to get the bugs ironed out on it, then when the car gets put away for winter take it off and sell.

The a/c turns off at WOT so you know. The TTI street kit for 2 grand isnt bad, but for 700hp its not a great choice. One is backpressure and 2 the turbo size your limited too. People have used these for many years. Try a search if it works to find some good info on it.

Do it right or don't do it at all... Do it just the way you want it, if you want that 700rwhp, and the 76, grab it!
