LS1 camaro on Pinks! Did anyone catch teh episode of Pinks! where a guy raced his ls1 Camaro against his brother in an old firebird?
His camaro was geared so exactly that it crossed the 1320 mark right at redline. I jsut thought that was pretty cool, and wanted some more specs on the car.

Specs I just saw that episode last night where he ended up beating the firebird with 5 3/4 car lengths. I believe he had a tuned 426 C.I. LS1 block with upgraded rear, 6 speed. Not sure about anything else but I'll research it. Very cool race though.

Thanks a ton Joe. However, when I first saw the specs of the 2 cars racing I was like WTF kind of matchup is this? A 357 c.i. firebird vs. a 426 c.i. ls1 shortblock?!? WTF?! Anyhow Joe I see you work for T56, my name is Nick Coffron and Denise told me you got my tranny today! I know you guys will do it good

That was an awesome episode of pinks. I think its the first episode I have seen where at least one guy wasnt backing off the throttle to make his car seem slower than it is. Those guys went ***** out everytime.

The best part is the launch! Looks like ya got some good advertisement too. However I'm thinking the blue one isn't going to sell... 3 retracted bids that met the reserve
