Default LS2 cam in an LS6?

Can it work? I see some cams listed in both motors, just double checking. Just so you know, i'm not putting a STOCK LS2 cam in my LS6. I want a cam I saw in an LS2, in my LS6 (hope that clears up any miswording i may have said)

Also...

Anyone konw who sells this cam? 231/237 .591/.601 112lsa? Says "Comp Cam" but not listed on their site.

its in that burnt orange C6 thats been on here a while in the video section

You probably already know this but I should say it anways. If you are going to rip apart your engine put something worth putting in. Its a lot of work to do a cam swap, and if you are wanting more power grab a bigger cam and do it once. As for the Com cam its probably just a discontinued model. I had a Lunati and that was the case.

231/237 .591/.601 Sounds like a comp custom.. The one going in my truck is a 223/227 on a 108 straight up. My 227 lobe is not on there now and I ordered it through Speed Inc about 2 months ago. You can have most the sponsors over ----> grind cams based off comps master catalog http://compcams.com/Technical/Catalo...obeCatalog.pdf

All though I don't see your 231/237 .591/.601 but I do see XER lobes 230 which has .590 lift and a 236 with .602 lift.

Eh... could be the same lobes. Lift will vary that much cam to cam of the same grind.

And I don't know of any LS2 specific cams out there. (other than stock).... i.e. that don't have the cam timing notching on the back journal.

Since LS1/6 cams will work in the LS2, they are ground on LS1/6 blanks.
