Default Alternatives to Walbro?

After reading the stories, and thinking that it won't happen to me....

My Walbro is whining.

So, does anyone else make a pump that installs like the Walbro?

I will go back to stock, if that is what I need for reliabiliity (this is my DD). Any suggestions for decent priced stock style units?

I am more pissed at the difficulty of replacing it than the money right now!

Have yet to have had any problems with mine.

My dad went from a Bosch in his Porsche to a Walbro inline (little smaller then a 255) and he LOVES it, it is half as loud and now he can barley hear his fuel pump compared to the other.

How old is your pump?

My stocker craped out just a few weeks after basic mods to my car.

Thunder Racing has some great technical support. You might call them and ask them about your problem, I did with an issue I had with my install.

Its a few months and a few thousand miles old. I did a great install, and the car fired up immediately after. No run-ability problems, and no noise. Now, in the last coupla days I have a whine... for no reason I can think of.

Maybe I'm paranoid, but it is definitely making more noise than it did.

Id call Thunder or the place you bought it from and ask them about it.
