Well, I can't believe I did this, cause I hate street racing, so I was a tad hypocritical today. But, with all the smack talk between the 4v stangs, and the LS1s, I figured, what the hell, I will add a story to the list.

Well, I take the same route to work every day, and 2-3 times a week I see a Z with the SLP package. it's a really nice car. Aftermarket rims, with an SS hood. earlier in the week, I noticed his plate cover said someing about smoked mustang, and i found it humorous since i was behind him for a few miles, so I am sure he noticed me. Well we swapped a few 'sups' and lane changes (no one let's you in here in the CEntral valley, so we swapped some respect). We had a couple of throttle punches, but nothing big cause of traffic......well today was different. We saw each other again, and said what's up. We went at it three times. We would slow to about 40-50 and go for it. No honks, just went for it. It was pretty cool cause it was like we were on the same mind set, we hit it at the same time, every time. Two out of three we were nose to nose. One time he had a fender on me, cause I short shifted to forth at 5K. and We had to shut down right afterward. Well, the third time was the best. cause we were neck and neck, launched at the same time, and took it to about 100. I would get the jump every time, but he would pull back up, and we would stay there. We slowed down, and I asked if he was stock, and he said yeah. I just asked if only the SLP, and he nodded. I asked for a fourth run, but he yelled out there was a cop ahead, then I noticed his radar detector....Lucky us. He was really cool, and we gave each other a nod and went on our way. I assume he had an A4, cause of the way the car drove and since I would get a slight jump, but I obviously wasn't paying too much attention.

Anyway, given I am sure he has a few more ponies than me, I am glad with the outcome.

YOur joking right??........is your mind really that closed? You honestly believe that a mach is laughable against an LS1?....if so, you really need to get caught up with the times.

Funny............ Sad thing is, the mach is my wife's car.......it's ok, dont' be mad that your boyfriend is not into real cars. Do you have somethign against women that drive low 13 second cars?......cause she also drove our terminator quite frequently. Just cause your sexist POS a$$ has not come across a REAL woman, doesn't mean you can talk ****.

Like I said....Jealousy. It's ok, You might find a real woman someday....but you'll have to leave your Boyfriend first.
